Made In America: Tayde Aburto
An entrepreneur with roots in Michoacán, Mexico and a thriving career in San Diego, Tayde Aburto recognized early on that too many small businesses were being left behind in the digital economy. To close that gap, he founded the Hispanic Chamber of E‑Commerce, followed by the U.S. Business Association of E‑Commerce. Through these initiatives, he has helped more than 15,000 entrepreneurs gain the tools, visibility, and strategies they need to compete and grow online.
Through digital strategy, marketing systems, and hands on coaching, Tayde has helped business owners increase revenue, expand their customer base, and make the leap into modern commerce. His work has made a measurable impact, especially in industries like logistics, construction, retail, and professional services, where many small businesses have traditionally relied on word of mouth alone.
Now, Tayde is bringing that same entrepreneurial mindset to product development with his latest venture: Santa Prisca Salt, a premium artisan salt brand inspired by tradition, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of pure, authentic flavor.
At the United States Hispanic Business Council, we highlight leaders like Tayde not just because of their success, but because of what they represent: hard work, smart strategy, and a belief in the power of American business.
Made in America means building something from the ground up. Tayde Aburto has done just that and helped thousands of others do the same.
