Massey Villarreal
Chief Executive Officer, Precision Task Group
Massey Villarreal is President and CEO of Precision Task Group (PTG), a Hispanic-owned technology systems integration firm that provides business solutions to public and private sector organizations. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for bringing business, government, and community leaders together to support economic growth and opportunity.
For more than 20 years, Villarreal has served Texas through appointments under Governors Greg Abbott, Rick Perry, and George W. Bush. His public service includes the Economic Incentive Oversight Board, the Texas Economic Development Corporation, the Texas Public Finance Authority, and the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System. As chairman of the Texas Department of Economic Development, he led the agency during its transition into the Governor’s Office.
Villarreal has also held leadership positions across the Hispanic business community. He remains the only person to have served as chairman of a local, state, and national Hispanic chamber of commerce, leading the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce, and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He later served as Chairman of the Texas Association of Business and continues to serve on its Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chairman.
His current board service reflects a longstanding commitment to business, education, and civic leadership. In 2025, he began serving as National Chairman of Excelencia in Education, where he helps advance student success across the nation’s Hispanic-Serving Institutions. He also serves on the boards of the Greater Houston Partnership, Memorial Hermann Health System, the Texas Association of Community College Business Advisory Board, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee National Council, and the National WWII Museum.
Villarreal has received national recognition for his leadership, including being named one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the United States by Hispanic Business Magazine and one of Newsweek’s 100 Most Influential Hispanic Republicans.
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Villarreal earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He lives in Sugar Land, Texas, with his family.
