As a child, David remembers being captivated while visiting a jobsite, watching foundations, framing, and structure come together to create something lasting. That early fascination with architecture sparked a lifelong passion that would eventually become DRD Studio.
Today, David is the founder of DRD Studio, a certified small business residential design firm based in Maryland. Since launching the company in 2008, he has helped homeowners, contractors, and developers bring their ideas to life through thoughtful, cost effective, and code compliant design.
But David built DRD Studio for a bigger reason.
He saw a growing number of families who wanted quality home designs without the inflated costs often associated with high end firms. So he created a company focused on practical expertise, personalized service, and honest relationships.
At DRD Studio, every project begins by listening.
David believes great design isn’t about imposing ideas, it’s about understanding how clients live, what they value, and what success looks like for them. His mission is to create custom residential spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle while helping contractors and homeowners move confidently through the design and permitting process.
